Reverse Flow Pivot - RFP is a very useful agility move to use when you do not want to cross to the other side of the dog, but you do need to pull the dog's path in toward the handler. You would use this move when the natural "flow" of the dog's path is away from a successful approach to the next correct obstacle.
The RFP is performed by the handler stopping and turning back or "reversing" the flow of the dog back toward the obstacle just taken. The abrupt rotation of the handler, back toward the obstacle just taken is a key element to disrupting the dog's flow. Once the dog's path is lined up with the next correct obstacle, the handler can "open up" and face that obstacle. As you will see, it is much easier to show you the video then it is to explan it!
