Dog Quest, located in Escondido, California, which is in North San Diego County, offers puppy socialization and basic dog obedience training classes.
Dog Obedience Training -Level 1
Class fee: Prepay $90 for 6 weeks
Start Date: July 16th, 2008
Class time: Wednesday 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
This class will introduce the use of a clicker as a tool for teaching basic dog obedience behaviors including come, sit, down, walking on a leash, dog attention, and leave it. Exuberant and unmotivated dogs will all benefit from this positive reinforcement class. This is a basic obedience class and is not for dogs with extreme behavior problems. Since this is a group class, it is not the place for aggressive dogs. Class will meet for one hour each week. Students will come without their dogs on the first night. Dogs should be at least 5 months and no prior behaviors are required. Pre-payment is required to secure your dog's spot in class. Class will begin once we have 8 dogs in black on the class roster.
