I was judging for USDAA in CO a couple of weekends ago (05/09/2009) and put up this challenging Steeplechase course. The sequence I was most interested in watching was from 11-18. Take a look at it and think about how you would handle it. Now think about the ideal - dream dog, dream handler - what is the best, most efficient way to handle this sequence? I was really surprised that only a couple of handlers tried it the way I thought it should be run. A few ran it another way and did well but several made this the ugliest sequence I've seen in a long time. We'll try something similar to this in class this week
